BMRE June-August 2005 News and Results

 

(8-28-05) Slinger Speedway. Behling Race Equipment Night, and the night started out great with Fast Time

for the 89 car with an 11.416. In the main, a fierce battle with the #1 car saw Kid Mueller spin the Blue Bullet

and he had to rebound to finish 10th. In the Behling race of champions 8th place was the result and we hold a 59

point lead over David Prunty, with fireworks next week and 100 laps!

 

 

(8-21-05) Slinger Speedway. Coca Cola twin 50's at the track, and after the dust settles it is Kid Mueller with

a 2nd and 3rd in the wreck laiden affairs, leaving the 1/4 mile with a 975-881 point lead over David Prunty.

 

(8-14-05) Slinger Speedway. A beautiful night for racing at Slinger, and Brad starts out 2nd quick in timing.

In the 65 lap main, a charge to the front saw the 89 car sideways while passing Mike Strupp and after regrouping,

Brad took it easy to a 6th place finish. After the race, the team discovered the rear stagger opened up 1 inch, making

Kid Mueller feel like he was at Plymouth rather than the tar. David Prunty moved within 69 points with his win.

 

 

(8-7-05) Slinger Speedway. Current point leader Bradley JJ Mueller continued his race to number

3 as he timed 2nd quick with an 11.475. In the main a 4th place finish was the result as the team leads

David Prunty 854-749.

 

(7-31-05) Slinger Speedway. Bon Jovi Night at Slinger, and Brad starts out with fast time turning

 

 

 

 

 

 

11.455. In the main, after dealing with lapped traffic the second half of the race Brad settled for

5th place in the 70 lapper. His 800- 687 point lead over David Prunty leads BMRE into August.

 

(7-29-05) Chilton, WI. Brad got out his tearoffs and drove the #67 Suburban Motors Harley Davidson to the overall

title in the Cheers of Chilton twin 25's Friday night at the Calumet County Fairgrounds.

(7-24-05) Slinger Speedway. Ritter 75 lapper at the ole racetrack, and team BMRE shows why they

are the 2 time defending track champs. In the feature, Brad battles with David Prunty, but comes up

just short at the checkers taking 2nd place. 749- 648 is the point margin over the #1 car.

 

 

(7-17-05) Slinger Speedway. Point leader and future cub scout leader Brad Mueller started the night

 

 

 

 

 

 

with fast time 11.417 and followed that up with a 2nd in the Drywall Distributers 75. A late charge had 'em on

their feet, but the #2 of Lowell Bennett had just enough to hold the #89 car off.

 

 

(7-13-05) Slinger Nationals Brad starts out 3rd in time touring the 1/4 mile 33 degree banked monster

at 11.341. In the main, 17th was the result, after a battery shorted out and 20 laps were lost in the pits

replacing it under green. Was this a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Jinx??

 

(7-10-05) Slinger Speedway. Alot of new faces at Slinger, and alot of yellows. The end result was a 6th

place finish in the 60 lapper, and a 598-531 lead over David Prunty. See  you at the Nationals Tuesday!

 

 

(7-3-05) Slinger Speedway. Fireworks Night at Slinger, which means extra cars, alot of fans and a few

extra bucks at the payshack. Brad toured the raceway 2nd quick with an 11.314. The dash was next, with

3rd the result. In the main, a steady ride to the front came up short of a win finishing 3rd, but increasing the

point lead over David Prunty 553- 480. Next week a 60 lapper Sunday and the Nationals the 12th.

 

 

(6-26-05) Slinger Speedway. The sweat yer you know what off 75 at Slinger, and Kid Mueller turned

an 11.415, good enough for the top spot. Brad followed it up with a 5th in the dash. In the 75 lapper,

Alot of defense was needed to secure a 6th place finish and a 57 point lead over David Prunty in points.

 

 

(6-19-05) Slinger Speedway. Our fine sponsor, More than Millwork of Slinger backed a 75 lap feature

at the track, and Brad started timing in 4th with an 11.539. In the dash, a second place was the result.

Pair a two's? Yep, second was all the 89 could muster in the 75 lapper getting nipped by John Mueller.

Brad and the 89 team lead Lowell Bennett by 52 points in the season point chase.

 

 

(6-12-05) Slinger Speedway. Sausage night at the races, and Brad starts out with Fast Time.

 

 

 

 

In the main, man did the 89 car fly thru the pack but a few long side by side battles netted the

team a runner up finish, and a great move in the points to the point lead.

 

 

(6-5-05) Slinger Speedway. Brad blazes a trail to the track and times in 6th with an 11.483. He then wins

the trophy dash .

 

 

 

 

 

In the Enders Construction feature race, the Blue Bullet finishes 3rd, and holds the same in the points, 19 out of 1st.
