(9-26-10) Random Lake, WI .WE SURVIVED!
The Chilton Fall Classic was moved to 141 speedway for 2010, hundred's of cars, dozens of parties, and when all was
done, we had a tough weekend.. one that has Brad saying thats a wrap!
We drove our 89 Late Model, and the Seifert's 25 IMCA Modified Friday and Saturday.
Friday, we blew the engine in the mod, and replaced it for Satuday's events.
Saturday we transferred the car thru the B main and got to 10th quickly in the A main, however Brad hooked a tire in the
infield and snapped the tie rod, but LOVED the car. Thanks to Art and Mary Jo Siefert for the ride!
In the Late Model, we have the car figured out on tacky-wet tracks, but as we found out dry she is still being stubborn,
so stubborn neither driver or crew are speaking to her ! WE finished 9th in the Late Model main...ending 2010 with a
car and driver and team in 1 piece, thanking all our supporters that stuck with us thru a season of ups and downs.

CHILTON FALL CLASSIC MOVES
TO 141
SPEEDWAY SEPTEMBER 24 AND 25
(Francis Creek, WI) Aug 19 – Although it will still be called the
Chilton Fall Classic, Wisconsin’s most popular two
day dirt track racing event will move to the state’s newest dirt track 141 Speedway in Francis Creek on Friday September
24
and Saturday September 25. The raindate is Sunday, September 26.
The Chilton track has remained closed this year, and one of the
event’s promoters, Merle Lisowe, has helped whip 141’s
new clay surface into one of the top racing surfaces in the area. “We’re pretty excited to be bringing the show to 141,”
said Lisowe, from Chilton. “The facilities are top notch and we’re bringing in pretty much the same classes. The format
will pretty much remain the same.”
In order to accommodate the expected 300 plus race teams in eight
different classes, 10 acres of adjacent property to the
pit area on the south end of the the pits will be leased. “We also plan on using the area behind our main entrance as a
makeshift pit area for the race teams,” said track promoter Bruce Conard. “We’re gonna make this a huge event. Merle,
Bob Cullen and Diane Schulz have done this special for many years and know what it takes to put on a great show.
We’re
happy to be part of it this year.”
The divisions that will be competing include: modifieds, stock cars,
sportmods, late models, grand nationals, street stocks,
hobby stocks and 4 cylinders. Modifieds and late models will race for $1500 to win while grand nationals and stock cars
and street stocks will compete for a $1000 top
prize. Hobby stocks, sportmods and 4 cylinders will race for $650 to
win.
Free camping will be allowed on the grounds. There will be live
entertainment after the races on both Friday and Saturday
nights.
For teams, pit parking is first come, first served.
Breakfast will be served Saturday morning.
Adult tickets are $12.00 for Friday and $18.00 for Saturday.
Students ages 11-15 are $10.00 each day. Kids 10 and
under are free with a paid adult. Racing starts at 5
p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.

(8-28-10) Plymouth Dirt Track. BMRE wins at the fairgrounds !
Mueller after starting seventh found himself in fourth with only two laps left.
He then went to the outside and started his run to the checkers.
On lap twenty-four he passed Russ Scheffler (Waukesha) for third.
Then on the final lap, he moved around Rick Scheffler (Waukesha) and
going into turn three pulled along-side race leader Turk Letizia (Milwaukee).
The two came off turn four side by side and as they crossed the finish line Mueller was ahead by inches for the win.
Letizia had led every lap and looked unbeatable for much of the race.
Early in the race, Bill Rezutek (Big Bend) drove the tracks high side very hard, but could only pull even with Letizia.
Later, Rick Scheffler and Russ Scheffler (Waukesha) would stay close to Letizia.
In the end, the Scheffler brothers would finish third and fourth with Tim Buhler (Glenbeulah) rounding out the top five.
The race set a new track record surpassing the old record by thirty-seven seconds.
In preliminary races Buhler and Rick Scheffler won Late Model heat races.

BMRE 89 win's at the famed Sheboygan County Fairgrounds. After winning his heat, Brad took the 25 lap main.
Mueller was choked up a bit in victory lane after winning his first Late Model Feature on the Plymouth track.
Mueller started on the front row with Randy Markwardt (Sheboygan) and won the race to turn one.
The win was hard earned, as he had to survive a number of restarts and he said it wasn't easy,
especially; with Russ Scheffler (Waukesha) close behind him the final six laps.
Mueller's win came just one week after he led the Feature until the late laps when he was passed.
